• **Files selected by the user** – WorkPlayMode requests folder access to **open files** chosen by the user.

WorkPlayMode requires permission to access certain folders **only to open files specified by the user**. This is necessary because macOS restricts apps from opening files outside of their own sandbox without explicit user authorization.

5. User Control & Permissions

Users **always have full control** over their file access permissions:

• WorkPlayMode only requests permission **when opening a file for the first time**.

• A "Reset File Permissions" option is available in the app to remove granted access.
